Controversy as Benue APC settles for Tiv-Tiv guber ticket

There is currently controversy in Benue State following the decision of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Benue State to field an all-Tiv governorship ticket.

IDOMA VOICE gathered that the party failed to come arrive at who will running mate to its candidate, Rev Father Hyacinth Alia.

Recall that the party had submitted the name of Barr. Shima Vembeh as a placeholder pending when a running mate would be appointed.

Vembeh is from the Tiv speaking park of the state, same place with the APC flag bearer, Alia.

However, after months of deadlocks, the party have submitted the name of Vembeh to run with Alia in 2023.
