Controversy as Egungun of Lagos leaked video breaks internet

Popular Nigerian content creator Kuye Adegoke, better known as Egungun of Lagos, has addressed the public after a leaked video sparked widespread reactions online.

The viral footage, which emerged over the weekend, shows Egungun brushing his teeth during a video call with an unidentified woman. However, during the call, he unintentionally exposed his private parts while wearing shorts, prompting outrage and criticism from fans and social media users.

This incident follows a recent revelation from Egungun’s wife, Pashotah, who disclosed that her husband had been the target of a blackmail attempt involving private videos. She explained that a Snapchat user had screen-recorded a video Egungun intended for her but mistakenly posted on his public Snapchat story. Despite the controversy, Pashotah had previously stood by her husband, defending their marriage.

The latest scandal has intensified scrutiny of Egungun’s personal life, with many online commentators questioning his credibility and casting doubt on his wife’s earlier defense.

Unbothered by the backlash, Egungun took to Instagram, sharing a carefree video of himself dancing energetically with a woman in his living room to the song Gimme Love by Zlatan and Olamide.

He captioned the post, “That’s massive baby but still give me your love baby,” signaling his refusal to be weighed down by the controversy.
