The untimely death of 27-year-old rapper Mohbad has led to various rumors circulating regarding the cause of his demise. Several sources and claims have emerged, contributing to the speculation surrounding this tragic event.
One report suggests that Mohbad died from complications related to an ear infection. According to sources from the singer’s team, he sought medical treatment at a hospital on the early morning of Tuesday, September 12, 2023. Following the treatment, he was administered an injection, after which he reportedly passed out and did not regain consciousness.
Additionally, singer Damo shared screenshots of a conversation in which Mohbad expressed a premonition of his impending death. In the messages, Mohbad advised his younger colleague, Damokilladavibe, to “take over the world” as he believed it now belonged to him.
In contrast to these reports, a video emerged featuring a nurse from the hospital where Mohbad passed away, suggesting that the rapper died due to the use of juju (charm) rather than an injection. According to the nurse, they initially suspected that Mohbad had malaria and administered injections and other treatments before his tragic death. The nurse claimed to be close to the late singer and mentioned that he was attempting to mediate a conflict when the juju was allegedly used on him.
Furthermore, another eyewitness claimed that Mohbad died from hypertension while driving, adding another layer of uncertainty to the circumstances surrounding his death.
