Cook-a-thon: Two weeks after, Benue Chef awaits Guinness World Records for confirmation
Two weeks after achieving what seems to be a Guinness World Records-breaking feat for the longest cooking marathon by an individual, Benue Chef Naira Victor is eagerly awaiting confirmation and verification from Guinness World Records.
IDOMA VOICE reports that Chef Tartenger Victor, famously known as Chef Naira Victor, accomplished an extraordinary feat by cooking nonstop for an impressive 135 hours, surpassing the previous record held by Irish chef Alan Fisher, who cooked for 119 hours and 57 minutes.
Despite Chef Victor’s remarkable accomplishment, Guinness World Records has responded, indicating that they are currently reviewing his claims.
An email update from Guinness World Records informed Chef Victor about the status of his application, advising him to log into his account for further details.
The email, sent from Guinness World Records’ Records Management Team, provided Chef Victor with an application reference number and urged him to access his account to receive the latest updates regarding his record attempt. It also outlined options for upgrading the application for a quicker response.
