Court of Appeal publishes 794-page PEPC judgment on official Website

The Court of Appeal has made the 794-page judgment from the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) regarding the 2023 election available on its official website.

This development was announced through the appellate court’s official X account, formerly known as Twitter, on Sunday, as reported by IDOMA VOICE.

Previously, there were suspicions that the tribunal’s ruling might have been influenced in favor of President Bola Tinubu, as copies circulating on social media had watermarks from the Tinubu Presidential Legal Team.

Both the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Labour Party (LP) had raised questions about why the Certified True Copies (CTC) of the judgment displayed the header of the Tinubu Legal Team.

However, Babatunde Ogala (SAN), the coordinator of the Tinubu Presidential Legal Team, released a statement on Saturday refuting such insinuations.

In contrast, the Court of Appeal clarified that the judgment uploaded to its website does not contain any watermarks, imprints, or endorsements from any particular entity.

“CERTIFIED TRUE COPY OF THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION PETITION COURT 2023 JUDGEMENT. Having considered and decided that the three Petitions Nos. CA/PEPC/03/2023; CA/PEPC/04/2023 and CA/PEPC/05/2023 are… Follow the link below for the CTC of the Judgment”, the court wrote.
