Court sets conditions for Regina Daniels to see her kids

A court has ordered Nollywood actress Regina Daniels to undergo drug rehabilitation and submit to an assessment by the Abuja Social Welfare Department as part of the conditions for her to have access to her children with Senator Ned Nwoko.

Naija News reports that the actress recently declared her intention to fight for the custody of her two sons, Munir and Khalifa, following a legal dispute with her estranged husband.

Regina had alleged that Nwoko filed for full custody of the children despite them currently being in his care. In a series of posts on Instagram, she accused the lawmaker of deliberately exposing their children to the public in a bid to attract attention.

She further claimed that Nwoko dismissed all her nannies and compelled them to make false allegations, including claims that she is violent and struggles with alcoholism.

Reacting to the accusations, Nwoko, in a statement shared on his Instagram page on Tuesday, denied preventing Regina from having access to their children.

The senator stated that a court had already ruled on the matter and outlined specific conditions Regina must meet before seeing the children.

Addressing her complaints about the posting of their children’s photos and videos online, Nwoko argued that Regina herself had previously shared similar content on social media, questioning her current opposition to the practice.
