The Lagos State Government has announced date for the reopening of all classes in both public and private schools.
Commisioner for Education in the state, Folasade Adefisayo said schools will resume fully on Monday October 19, 2020.
Adefisayo said the resumption for the 2020/2021 academic session will include pupils in pre-primary – daycare, kindergarten and nursery schools.
Speaking on Monday, the commissioner said the decision was taken after careful deliberations and consultations with relevant stakeholders.
The commissioner urged schools to ensure safety by adhering to the COVID-19 safety protocols and hygiene guidelines.
