COVID-19: Health officer clarifies report of coronavirus case in Otukpo

The medical officer in charge of the General Hospital Otukpo, Dr Ogwu Ada, has dispelled as false the NEWS that Otukpo Local Government has registered a COVID-19 case.

He stated this awhile ago why briefing the Otukpo Local Government Council.

Dr Ada said there is no case of Coronavirus in Otukpo as speculated in some quarters yesterday; he urged members of the public to disregard the news which is capable of cause panic in the Council Area and the State at large.

He advised the people of the Council Area to adhere to preventive measures such as regular washing of hands, observing social distancing to curb the spread of the virus.
