COVID-19: Journalists who can prove they are unable to work from home exempted from lockdown – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has announced that media practitioners who are unable to work from home are exempted from lockdown announced on Sunday.

Buhari had in a nationwide broadcast that movement should ne restricted in Abuja, Lagos and Ogun States for a period of 14 days as a way to fight further spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

He said, “Workers in telecommunication companies, broadcasters, print and electronic media staff who can prove they are unable to work from home are also exempted.”
