The former Chairman and Otukpo PDP Chairmanship flag bearer, Rt. Hon. George Alli has today Wednesday 1st April, 2020 distributed thousands of hand sanitizers to the 13 council wards if the LGA, the primary Healthcare Centre Otukpo, Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN Otukpo Chapter, The Ochi’Otukpo ‘Odu, HRH, Dr. John Eimonye (The traditional ruler of Otukpo); and the Sarkin Hausawa of Benue South, Alhaji Mamuda of the Otukpo Muslim Community.
The distribution according to Hon. Alli is just part of the first phase of his programme against Coronavirus.
The incoming Chairman also commended Dr. Nature Oije, an illustrious son of the Idoma Nation from Adoka-Ehaje who donated the Former Vanapo suits to the Otukpo Local Government to be used as Isolation Center for infected person(s).
The potential Chairman also took his time to visit the Otobi water board site in Akpa district of the area after receiving information on the state of the Water.
