Cristiano Ronaldo Jr signs for Man United, to wear no. 7

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr has signed a deal to play for Machester United.

The young Portuguese was unveiled alongside Brazilian wonder kid Gabriel, who also signed a deal with the Red Devils.

Cristiano Jr is also set to wear the Iconic No. 7 jersey and Gabriel on the other hand, will wear the No.10 jersey.

The 11-year-old follows the footstep of his father and five times Ballon d’Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo, who joined the club at the age of 18 from Sporting CP. He won the FA Cup in his first season.

Cristiano Ronaldo has always posted images and videos of his son training on his social media platforms.

He has mentioned on multiple occasions that he doesn’t want to pressure his son to play football and would happily accept whatever he chooses to do in the future as a proud father.

Recall, the son of Lionel Messi, Thiago, was also signed to Barcelona at the age of 3 in 2016.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona have their own special academy for kids between the ages three and five which Thiago will join.

Bizarrely, the signing comes just one day after Lionel said his son isn’t really interested in football.
