Ben Ayade, the Governor of Cross River State, has announced the appointment of eighteen people as his Special Assistants (SAs) on Religious Matters.
This was revealed in a press statement signed by Christian Ita, Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Publicity on Friday.
According to him, the appointment spanned across the three Senatorial Districts and 18 local government areas (LGAs) that made up the state.
The statement reads, “The state governor, His Excellency, Sir Ben Ayade has approved the appointments of the following persons as Special Assistants on Religious Matters:
“A. Southern Senatorial District:
1. Mrs Olive Effanga JP – Calabar Municipality
2. Rev. Effiom Ironbar – Calabar South LGA
3. Ven. Mesembe Effiong Inameti – Odukpani LGA
4. Mr John Bassey – Akamkpa LGA
5. Rev. Eyo Boco – Akpabuyo LGA
6. Rev. Fr. Paul Etene – Bakassi LGA
7. Rev. James Abam – Biase LGA.
“B. Central Senatorial District:
1. Mr. Michael Nsor – Ikom LGA
2. Rev. Fr. Gabriel Inah – Etung LGA
3. Sir P. O. Bisong (KSJi) – Boki LGA
4. Catechist (Mrs) Margaret Afro Enang – Obubra LGA
5. Hon. Inah Inah Usang – Yakurr LGA
6. Rev. Sunday Elemi Edu – Abi LGA.
“C. Northern Senatorial District:
1. Mr Anthony Morod Mose JP – Ogoja LGA
2. Rev. Ben Akor – Obudu LGA
3. Mr Godwin Ukpan – Obanliku LGA
4. Chief James Ashu – Bekwarra LGA
