Crystal Palace set to submit bid for Iheanacho

Reports indicate that English Premier League side Crystal Palace is preparing to submit an offer for Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho.

Multiple sources suggest that Crystal Palace is strategizing to propose a bid within the range of £12 million to £13 million for the Nigerian international. Leicester City is reportedly open to negotiations with the club.

With a year remaining on his current contract, the 24-year-old player is adamant about not participating in the Sky Bet Championship this season. This decision follows Leicester City’s relegation to second-division football in the previous season.

In the forthcoming days, Crystal Palace is set to actively pursue the acquisition of the forward, considering him a potential replacement for Jean-Philippe Mateta. The latter is on the brink of departing the club, with potential destinations being either Leipzig or Borussia Dortmund.

Kelechi Iheanacho originally joined Leicester City from Manchester City in 2018.
