Danger looms as NNPC tanker carrying diesel crashes in Benue (PHOTOS)


A tanker, heavily loaded with diesel has fallen of the road in Makurdi, the Benue State capital.
According to Idomadiva, who was present at the scene of the accident, the NNPC tanker veered off the road while trying to navigate the bend opposite balcony parks Makurdi.

It was manna from heaven as people around the environment came scavenging for the remains of the diesel which poured into nearby gutters.

The law enforcement agencies were on ground to salvage the situation.
