Dangote Refinery reduces petrol price to N890 per litre
The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a reduction in the ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as petrol, from N950 to N890 per litre.
The new price, effective from Saturday, 1st February 2025, was revealed in a statement issued by the Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina.
According to the statement, the adjustment comes in response to the favorable outlook in global energy and gas markets and a recent drop in international crude oil prices.
“This strategic price revision reflects the ongoing fluctuations in global crude oil markets, as noted in our earlier statement on 19th January, when a slight increase was made due to rising international crude oil prices,” the statement added.
The refinery reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and fairness, ensuring that the price changes align with global market trends.
