The Benue State University, Makurdi will resume on the 18th as planned and have already broken down their schedule.
Benue State Executive Council made this known on Wednesday.
The council also placed a total ban on public gatherings.
According to the Commissioner of Information Rt. Hon. Ngunan Addingi who briefed the press after the State Executive meeting said :
“Schools are going to be opened on the 18th January 2021 and will be strictly monitored to maintain and observe all Covid-19 protocols. Those with large numbers will stagger their programs to ensure students and pupils are not over crowded.
“There is an outbreak of cholera in the state and Government has enjoined all living at the river banks and Benue citizens not to use contaminated water.”
