David Mark a national treasure but in a wrong party – Senator Adeyeye

Senator Olusola Adeyeye, representing Osun Central constituency has described immediate past senate president, Senator David AB Mark as a national treasure, but pitched his tent with a wrong party.
Mark is representing Benue South Senatorial district at the upper legislative chamber on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party.

Speaking at the public hearing on the bill for the establishment of Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo, Adeyeye, who doubles as the Senate Chief Whip, said he nearly urinated in his trousers when Mark called to inform him that they were already waiting for him.
“I got to know about this event this morning while in Ibadan. You know we have only two flights from that axis, Arik and Overland. As God would have his way, there was no delay and I am here with you. When my boss and brother, a man I respected so called to inform me that they were already waiting for me, I nearly urinated in my trousers.
“This man is a national treasure, no doubt but he is in a wrong party. I was glad we removed him, I have told him to come to the right party. I am here to speak on behalf of the senate president but I must add this, generations to come will never forget this man in a hurry,” he said.
