David Mark’s cousin, Egli Ahubi now Deputy Speaker, Benue State House of Assembly

The Benue State House of Assembly has elected Honourable Egli Johnson Ahubi, representing Otukpo/Akpa State Constituency as Deputy Speaker following his nomination by Honourable Joseph Ojobo representing Ogbadibo state constituency and seconded by his counterpart from Makurdi North, Rt. Honourable Avine Agbom.

Egili would be replacing his kinsman, James Okefe as the Deputy following their ouster on Tuesday by the assembly.

IDOMA VOICE observed that Egli is a cousin to former Senate President, David Mark, who has been described as the last man standing in the PDP.
