Davido celebrates voting in US presidential election
Multiple award-winning artist David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has shared his excitement after casting his vote in the ongoing United States presidential election.
This election, the 60th quadrennial presidential race in the U.S., will decide the successor to outgoing President Joe Biden.
On Tuesday, Davido, who was born in Atlanta, Georgia, took to his verified X account to reflect on his experience as a first-time voter. “First time voter!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸,” he posted alongside a photo of himself after casting his ballot.
The 2024 election is a highly anticipated contest between Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris and Republican former President Donald Trump, the two frontrunners in the race. This marks Davido’s first time voting as a U.S. citizen.
