David began his music career at Oakwood University. Davido rose to stardom after releasing his second single, ‘Dami Duro’. The Nigerian Musician also has numerous awards and accolades to his name.
Davido dated Chioma Avril Rowland. Davido is also the father of three children from three women namely, Aurora Imade Hailey Veronica and a son Ifeanyi David Adedeji Adeleke.
On October 31, 2022, the death of David Ifeanyi Adeleke Jr., the first son and third child of Davido. He was three years old. Ifeanyi drowned in the private swimming pool at the Banana Island residence of the celebrity. Members of Davido’s household staff were questioned by the police A total of eight domestic workers were invited to the police station for questioning after one had initially gone to the police station to report the drowning accident of Ifeanyi. After investigations, six were eventually released by the police as they were not found culpable, with two still in detention,

Davido was enrolled at the British International School located in Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria. He later gained admission to study Business administration in Oakwood University, Huntsville, Alabama.
While at Oakwood University, Davido bought some recording and musical equipment to make music.l references. Davido later dropped out of school and moved to Nigeria in 2011.
After deliberations with his Dad, he enrolled at Babcock University, Ogun state and finally graduated in 2015 with a first class in music.
Davido was recounted that his Dad made a promise to his late mother that he will ensure Davido finishes his schooling.
On Oct.30, 2011, Davido released ‘Dami Duro’. The Dami Duro single was co-produced with Shizzi.
Davido later released the music video for Dami duro, which was directed by Clarence peters.
The song late became a hit song in Nigeria, it was aired inamost every media outlet – the introduction of Davido to fame.
Davido released his first album Omo Baba Olowo (Child of a Wealthy Person) in 2012 under HKN Music Record Label.
