‘Davido is richer than his father’ – Actor Ibrahim Chatta

Nollywood actor Ibrahim Chatta has made a bold claim, stating that singer Davido is wealthier and more influential than his billionaire father, Adedeji Adeleke. Chatta shared this perspective while advising young people to respect individuals in higher positions of authority, regardless of age.

While discussing age as just a number, Chatta referenced historical figures like Alexander the Great, who achieved extraordinary feats at a young age. He explained that although Davido is younger than his father, the artist’s wealth and fame have positioned him as a powerful figure in his own right.

Chatta further elaborated that an elder is not determined solely by age but by accomplishments. He pointed out that, despite his father’s significant wealth, Davido is more powerful due to his influence and achievements.

According to Chatta, “God places people in certain positions regardless of age. Anyone who has what elders possess is an elder themselves. Look at Alexander the Great, who ruled at 20 and accomplished more than many older leaders.”

He also compared Davido’s influence to that of other young stars like Wizkid, noting the stampede that follows Davido wherever he goes, a testament to his status. “His father may be a billionaire, but Davido commands a different level of attention. If Davido walks by, the crowd will react, but his father might go unnoticed,” Chatta said.
