Award-winning singer Davido has taken a notable step in response to his logistics manager, Isreal DMW’s unsolicited help. Davido unfollowed Isreal on Instagram after the latter issued an apology to the Muslim community on Davido’s behalf.

The controversy stemmed from a music video that Davido had tweeted to promote his music artiste, Logos Olori. The video for the song ‘Jaye Lo’ featured scenes of people praying and dancing in a building that some perceived to resemble a mosque, leading to offense and criticism from some Muslims who deemed it disrespectful to their religion.

In the aftermath of the backlash and appeals, Davido removed the video from his page without making any public comments on the matter. Isreal DMW, however, decided to address the situation on his Instagram page, where he apologized to the Muslim community, explaining that the music video was meant for entertainment purposes and was unintentionally presented inappropriately.

While some netizens praised Isreal’s attempt to resolve the situation, it seems that Davido was not entirely pleased with the gesture, leading to his decision to unfollow Isreal DMW on Instagram.

As of now, Davido has refrained from making any further public statements regarding the controversial music video and the subsequent apology, leaving fans and followers speculating about his reaction and feelings on the matter.
