While Nigerians are confused over the authenticity of the news of the death of Ifeanyi Adeleke, 3-year-old son of music star, David Adeleke, otherwise known as Davido, the father is yet to make any comment.
Reports had claimed that Nigerian singer, Davido and his fiancée Chioma Rowland have lost their 3-year-old son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
The tragic death occurred on Monday, October 31. Ifeanyi reportedly died by drowning at his dad’s Banana Island home, according to Instablog, Linda Ikeji and other outfits.
The report said the couple had traveled for a family gathering to Ibadan yesterday and had left Ifeanyi with his minders who can’t explain how he entered the pool without being noticed and drowned.
Checks on Davido’s Instagram account showed that the last post about his son was last week, October 20, when the boy celebrated his third birthday.
In one of the posts, Davido shared a video of Ifeanyi dancing with a caption: “BIRTHDAY BOY IN 1HR!!!! OTILLOOOO!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂 🎂🎂🎂🎉🎉🎉.
In another post, Davido shared a picture of Ifeanyi accompanied with words of prayer:
He wrote, “I pray with all my heart that God grants you perfect health and pure happiness for as long as humanly possible. You will grow to be greater than Me , Happy birthday, son @davidifeanyiadeleke !!! #BIG3.”
Meanwhile, colleagues of Davido have been reacting to the death of Ifeanyi.
