ONAH had been receiving treatment at Primus Specialist hospital, Karu, Abuja.

According to Prince John Onwhe: We’ve lost our little super star DEBORAH ONAH to the cold hands of death…You fought so hard for a comeback but heaven knows best…
RIP DEBORAH ONAH 😭

According to Ada Mark Foundation for girls :

…she was young, had aspirations, dreams, playing the game she loved. Wished the nation would have had her in mind, wished it was ok to dream and actualize that dream even if it was just to play the sport she loved.

Sorry we failed you, sorry your nation failed you, sorry you join the teeming crowd of ‘never to be realized dream!’
Rest in peace!
