Deborah Samuel: What Atiku said about the murder of Christian lady in Sokoto

Former Vice President and presidential aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, has reacted to the murder of Deborah Samuel in Sokoto.

IDOMA VOICE reports that Deborah, a student of Shehu Shagari College of Education student was stoned to death and her body burnt by some male Muslim students for allegedly insulting Prophet Mohammed.

The incident has triggered nationwide reactions and condemnation.

Reacting, Atiku said there is no justification for the gruesome murder of the Christian student.

He tweeted, “There can not be a justification for such gruesome murder. Deborah Yakubu was murdered, and all those behind her death must be brought to justice. My condolences to her family and friends.”
