2019: Gemade dumps PDP, joins SDP in Benue, gives reason

Banabas Gemade, the senator representing Benue North East senatorial district at the national Assembly and a Former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national chairman on Sunday September 16th, 2018 announced his defection from the PDP to the Social Democratic Party (SDP).

Recall that Sen. Gemade was one of the 14 All Progressives Congress (APC) Senators, who defected to the PDP couple of months ago,
