Degenerating Tiv-Jukun violence (Opinion)

Reports coming out of Wukari, Taraba State indicate that, Jukun Militia mounted an illegal road block between Wukari and Jootar and Killed 2 Tiv students of FUWT and a Tiv Staff of the same institution without any provocation ….yesterday.

This unprovoked attack on this Innocents students whose only crime is being Tiv must be condemned by all people of good will across all ethnic and political divides.

We demand that the perpetrators of this heinuos and dastardly acts be hunted down and brought to Justice by the security agencies.

We also call on the government of Taraba State and the Federal government to ensure the security and safety of all citizens where ever they reside.

This killings are one killing too many – the Jukun must have a rethink about their penchant for resolving disputes through violence .

Nobody has a monopoly of violence.

A word is enough for the wise…
