Democracy Day: Senator Abba Moro urges Nigerians to keep faith with democracy

The senator representing Benue South Senatorial District and Senate Minority Leader, Comrade Abba Moro PhD felicitates with his constituents and Nigerians at large on Democracy Day celebration.

Senator Moro salutes the people’s resilience and determination that keep them moving even in the face of the current hardship brought upon them by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), which has been in power since 2015.

The senator says democracy remains the best form of government, being the government of the people, by the people and for the people. He encourages Nigerians to keep faith with democracy, stating that the country may not be where it ought to be but that it is not where it was in the pre-democracy era.

The Senate Minority Leader promises his continued leadership of the Senate Minority Caucus that will continue to yield positive results for the generality of Nigerians. He charges the President and Commander-In-Chief of the armed forces, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his cabinet to end insecurity, hunger, unemployment, epileptic power supply and all the ills bedeviling the country. He says Democracy Day anniversary must go beyond the annual ritual of celebration to yield the needed dividends for Nigerians.

He wishes everyone a happy celebration!
