Destiny Etiko speaks out on alleged affair with Omotola Jalade’s husband

Destiny Etiko has addressed the rumors surrounding her alleged affair with veteran actress Omotola Jalade’s husband, Matthew Ekeinde.

Recent reports suggested that Destiny Etiko was romantically involved with Ekeinde and that he had gifted her a luxury car.

During an Instagram Live session, Etiko dismissed these claims as false and aimed at damaging her reputation. She stated, “If you try to undermine someone else’s blessings while hoping to succeed yourself, it’s impossible. You’ve always spoken negatively about me. Do men give money? Even if they do, I don’t know.”

Etiko emphasized that she has earned nearly everything she owns through her own efforts. She added, “I don’t understand why some people are so bitter. Perhaps they’re afraid. I often buy a new car for my birthday because I enjoy changing cars annually.”

She clarified the situation involving Ekeinde, explaining that the photos in question were taken over four years ago when he was piloting a flight she was on. “He asked what was happening, and someone mentioned I was an actress. Out of respect, I greeted him and requested a selfie. That was all that happened.
