Report emerged on Tuesday that the Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, founder of LoveWorld Incorporated, popularly known as Christ Embassy, has suspended his nephew, Daysman Oyakhilome.
The report claimed that Pastor Chris axed his nephew from his position over what he describes as acts of “gross misconduct.”
Pastor Chris made this known during worship on Sunday.
The cleric said Daysman will during the period undergo spiritual rehabilitation while still on suspension.
“Dr Daysman Oyakhilome Woghiren, the president of Loveworld Next and Loveworld Innovation, is hereby removed from being the Loveworld president and Loveworld Innovation and also suspended from all official roles for act of misconduct.
“So he no longer handles any of that and I am placing him under spiritual rehabilitation. He has to go through spiritual rehabilitation programme from now with immediate effect”
The Bola Tinubu connection
Meanwhile, Nigerians have speculated that Daysman’s alleged involvement with APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, could have been the reason for his suspension.
In a poster shared online, Daysman was seen alongside the picture of Tinubu announcing an event tagged: Ceremony for conferment of appointment as Global Youth Ambassador for Bola Tinubu Support Organisation.
VERIFICATION
IDOMA VOICE cannot immediately verify if Daysman’s suspension was as a result of his alleged involvement in partisan politics as the man of God did not give any reason for relieving his nephew of his position.
