Disabled corps member rehabilitates public offices, set to donate tricycles

A Physically challenged corp member, Gwer Peter who is serving in Makurdi, Benue State is changing the narrative and rewriting history while obeying the clarion call.

Peter, who is serving with INEC in State code number BN/21C/1508 is carrying out a community development service project aimed at improving access to Public buildings for persons with disabilities in Benue State and to provide mobility aid for the vulnerable ones.

He has constructed ramps (wheelchair walkways) at 3 ministries in Makurdi, an obstacle that serves as a barrier for the functionality of persons with disabilities.

He has 50 Tricycle Wheelchairs to donate to the needy and other physically challenged persons.

The project is set for commissioning Wednesday, 5th October 2022.
