The naira strengthened against the dollar on the parallel foreign exchange market on Wednesday.
Alhasan Abubakar, a Bureau de Change operator at Wuye Zone 2, Abuja, confirmed to IDOMA VOICE that the naira traded at N1,660 per dollar, improving from N1,675 on Tuesday, marking a gain of N15.
However, on the official market, the naira slightly depreciated, closing at N1,544.20 per dollar, a decrease from Tuesday’s N1,544.05, losing N0.15.
IDOMA VOICE reports that the naira had strengthened against the dollar on both markets the day before.
