The official rate today, Friday, 7th January, for $1 dollar to naira = ₦415.70/$1.

According to FMDQ Security Exchange where forex is officially traded, the official exchange rate between the naira and the US dollar opened at ₦415.70/$1 on Friday, 7th January 2022, after it closed at ₦416.25 to a $1 on Thursday January 6th 2022.

How much is exchange rate of Dollar to Naira in Black Market today?

The exchange rate for a dollar to naira at Lagos and Abuja Parallel Market (Black Market) for today, Friday, January 7th sells at ₦565/1$, and buy at ₦570 according to enquiring made from the Bureau De Change (BDC) this morning.

Though, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) does not recognise the parallel market (black market), as it has directed individuals who want to engage in Forex to approach their respective banks.

The exchange rate between the naira and the US dollar opened at ₦420.6/$1 on Friday January 6th 2022 and closed at ₦416.25/$1 on Thursday, according to data from FMDQ.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The exchange rate changes hourly.… it depends on the volume of dollars available and the demands. What it means is that…you can buy or sell 1 dollar at ₦565 to ₦570 and the price can change (high or low) within hours.
