Donald Trump triumphs in New Hampshire primary, secures dual wins in key States

Former President Donald Trump emerged victorious in Tuesday’s New Hampshire primary shortly after the closure of the final polls, surpassing Nikki Haley, his last prominent rival for the Republican Party nomination.

This achievement marked Trump as the initial non-incumbent GOP candidate in the modern era to secure victories in both Iowa and New Hampshire. As of the current report, Trump secured 54.2% of the votes, amounting to 146,577, while Haley garnered 43.7% with 118,027 votes.

Expressing his gratitude for the results, Trump stated to Fox News Digital’s Brooke Singman, “I’m very honored by the result.”

Haley, a former two-term governor of South Carolina who served as U.N. ambassador in Trump’s administration, congratulated Trump on his victory during her address to supporters in Concord, New Hampshire. Despite acknowledging Trump’s earned success, she emphasized that the race was far from over, preparing for an upcoming primary in her home state of South Carolina next month.

While Trump’s lead over Haley remained in the single digits as the votes continued to be tallied, his historical feat as the first former or current president indicted for a crime last year did not deter his support among Republican voters; in fact, it seemed to strengthen it.
