DONE DEAL: Victor Osimhen agrees to join Chelsea on €350,000 weekly pay

Victor Osimhen has reportedly agreed to join Chelsea, taking a significant step closer to fulfilling his dream of playing in the Premier League. The Napoli striker will earn €350,000 per week, which is €150,000 less than his initial demand of €500,000 per week.

With the summer transfer window closing in the next 48 hours, Osimhen has settled for the reduced sum to secure the move.

This development confirms earlier reports from Italy that suggested the protracted transfer negotiations between Chelsea and Napoli were nearing a conclusion. Napoli has reportedly accepted Chelsea’s offer for the Nigerian striker.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli has intensified their efforts to sign Osimhen. Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported on Thursday that Al-Ahli’s management is set to travel to Italy to facilitate the transfer.

As the transfer deadline approaches, Chelsea is determined to add a new striker to their squad. Their options include Osimhen, Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran, and Brentford’s Ivan Toney, who is also on Manchester United’s radar.

Napoli, eager to part ways with the former Lille player, is open to both selling and loan options. The club is keen to finalize the transfer, especially since Osimhen’s earlier suitors, Paris Saint-Germain, have moved on to other targets following a strong start to their season.
