Popular media personality, Idowu Adeyemi, also known as Yhemolee, has urged couples to refrain from checking their partners’ phones in an attempt to catch them cheating.
Yhemolee, who recently married his longtime girlfriend, Thayour B, warned that snooping on a partner’s phone could have serious emotional and mental consequences.
In a video posted on his Instagram, he shared a story about a friend whose fiancée ended up in the hospital after checking his phone.
He stated, “My friend told me his fiancée is in the hospital struggling to breathe. When I asked if she had a terminal illness, he said no—she checked his phone overnight. If you die, the person who caused it will move on.”
Yhemolee stressed that discovering certain things on a partner’s phone could lead to trauma, warning couples to avoid the temptation altogether.
