“Don’t hype 2021 with vision, prophecy” – Paschaline Alex warns Nigerians

Paschaline Alex Okoli, a Nollywood actress, has taken to her social media space to warn that no one should hype the year 2021 with vision and prophecy as some did 2020.

Okoli, who is famous for her role as Cordelia in Jenifa’s Diary, warned her fans and followers to desist from hyping year 2021 with visions and prophecies.

Her statement may be a reaction to the positivity that surrounded the year 2020, only for things to be lockdown due to the outbreak of COVID-19.

Paschaline Alex wrote;

“I Like The Way Nobody Is Hyping 2021 With Vision And Prophecy. Please Let’s Leave It That Way Bikonu

It can be recalled that in a recent interview with Sunday Scoop, Paschaline Alex said stardom had taught her not to say too much because there was a tendency for people to misconstrue her words.

She said;

“Stardom has cautioned me not to say too much because people could change my words. I still do the things I like to do and go to places I delight in. I have tried not to let fame take my best moments away from me.”

On some of the challenges she experienced before stardom, the actress said, “Having to wait after auditions was one of the challenges I faced when I started out. One had to wait to hear if one got a call back. The worst part was that if one didn’t get the role, one would probably never be informed.”
