‘Double for Imole’: Asisat Oshoala pays tribute to Mohbad

Asisat Oshoala, the Nigerian footballer renowned for her role as a striker with FC Barcelona and the Nigeria women’s national team, offered a heartfelt tribute to the late singer Mohbad in a recent Instagram post.

This gesture comes a few weeks after the tragic passing of Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad who left died on September 12, 2023.

In memory of Mohbad, Asisat Oshoala, who had recently netted two goals against Granada in a football match, took to her Instagram account to pen the following message: “Double for Imole. keep resting young king #LightBoy.”
