As part of activities to mark her 52nd birthday, Dr Becky Enenche of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, on Sunday, empowered some women and youths within the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
Idoma Voice observed that several persons were empowered with various materials such as sewing machines, ovens, wrappers, grinding machines, foodstuff, cash and other items.
Shortly after the empowerment programme, the celebrant, in company of her husband, Dr Paul Enenche, moved to Kuyamin-Gosa, a satellite town along the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Road, Abuja, to commission a branch of Dunamis Church and a motorized borehole she donated to the community.
Speaking earlier, Dr Becky Enenche said the aim of the empowerment programme was to reachout to some women and as well take some boys and girls out of the street and make them useful to the society.
Some residents of the community who spoke with newsmen, thanked the clerics for their kind gesture.
