Dr Onyema Ogbuagu is a Nigerian born medical doctor, He is a twin and his father, Prof Chibuzo Ogbuagu was a one time Vice Chancellor of Abia State University.
His mother is Prof Stella Ogbuagu, a professor of sociology who graduated from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 1974 as the best graduating student in her set.
Dr Onyema Ogbuagu studied medicine at the University of Calabar and scaled the hurdles in 2003 and also referred to as a malabite.
After obtaining his golden fleece, he did his internship at Ebonyi State University Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki , before jetting out of the country for greener pastures.
Ogbuagu is now an associate professor of medicine at the Yale School of Medicine.
