Drama as King Mitchy’s management retracts death statement
Michelle Mukoro, popularly known as influencer King Mitchy, is alive, after her management reversed an earlier statement announcing her death.
In a fresh update shared online, her team confirmed that she is safe.
The statement read, “Michelle is okay now.”
IDOMA VOICE reports that the situation unfolded during a fierce social media dispute between Mitchy and activist VeryDarkMan over questions linked to her charity projects.
Mitchy had recently claimed she completed the renovation of a school in just six days and publicly challenged VeryDarkMan over how public donations received since 2025 were being handled.
The controversy intensified after VeryDarkMan alleged that Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, was sponsoring Mitchy’s philanthropic activities.
Amid the escalating feud, Mitchy reportedly lost access to her business Instagram account.
In a troubling livestream, the influencer was seen ingesting a substance believed to be a bleach product commonly referred to as “hypo.”
Her management had initially stated that she passed away at Prime Care Hospital in Abuja, claiming attempts by medical personnel to revive her failed, while appealing for privacy for her family.
However, Prime Care Hospital denied the report, insisting that Mitchy was never admitted to the facility and cautioning that it would pursue legal action against those spreading false claims.
