Drama as two lawyers fight with chairs in Enugu court

A startling altercation unfolded at the Customary Court in Obukpa, situated within Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State, as two legal practitioners engaged in a physical brawl.

The unexpected skirmish left both litigants and court officials in a state of bewilderment, with the root cause of the confrontation remaining unclear. Fellow lawyers and court personnel swiftly intervened in an attempt to quell the escalating turmoil.

In a viral video obtained by DAILY POST on Thursday, the two lawyers could be seen vehemently quarreling, raising chairs, and shouting at the top of their lungs.

The identities of the two lawyers have not been disclosed, but it is known that they both hail from the local area. As tensions heightened, one of the lawyers could be heard remarking, “He is a very small boy… He is a mad man,” to which the second lawyer sternly warned, “Touch me again…”

The exchange continued with retorts such as, “Who touched you? Look at this mad man,” from the first lawyer, who subsequently began walking out of the courtroom. The second lawyer couldn’t resist the parting shot, adding, “Look at you. You have bleached yourself like a fool. You have bleached yourself like a woman,” directed at his departing colleague.
