The Department of State Services (DSS) has reportedly arrested Mukaila Lamidi, also known as Auxiliary, the former chairman of the Oyo State Park Management System (PMS).
Sources said Auxiliary was apprehended around 4:00 pm on Tuesday at his residence in the Olodo area of Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State.
While the specific reasons for his arrest remain unclear, speculations suggest it may be linked to an interview he granted on Saturday, May 4. In the interview, Auxiliary openly criticized Seye Famojuro, a close associate of Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, alleging his involvement in Auxiliary’s predicament.
During the interview, conducted in Yoruba by media personnel Ajibola Akinyefa, Auxiliary voiced his grievances against Famojuro and expressed confidence that justice would prevail. He also questioned the legitimacy of his removal from office, dismissing allegations of misconduct.
