Super Eagles invitee Gift Orban has hinted that his impressive goal-scoring form is fueled by a favourite Nigerian dish, eba and egusi soup.
The Hoffenheim forward, who recently joined the Bundesliga side, shared this on his verified Instagram story after scoring a consolation goal in his club’s 3-1 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen.
Orban has now netted twice in four appearances for The Kraichgauers, maintaining his goal-scoring reputation. In a short video, the Nigerian-Togolese striker was seen enjoying a plate of eba and egusi soup ahead of Hoffenheim’s upcoming clash against Union Berlin.
“Yes, eba and egusi,” he said in the clip, which has since drawn reactions from fellow players and fans.
With Hoffenheim struggling in the league, currently sitting 15th after 20 matches, the in-form Orban will be heavily relied upon to help turn their fortunes around.
