Edo guber: Obaseki finally agress to support Philip Shaibu

Edo State’s Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu, has expressed confidence in securing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial ticket.

The PDP has scheduled its primary election for February 3, where the party’s candidate for the upcoming governorship election will be determined.

Despite any existing disparities, Shaibu, a guest on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Thursday, asserted that Governor Godwin Obaseki would lend his support.

“I am confident that Governor Godwin Obaseki, my boss and senior brother, will back me,” Shaibu stated.

“He explicitly stated during our stakeholders meeting at the secretariat that he will support the winner, and in this case, the victor is none other than Philip Shaibu.”
