The Benin Zonal Command of the EFCC in Warri, Delta State, a total of 41 individuals suspected of internet fraud have been apprehended.
The arrests were carried out on Friday, based on actionable intelligence pointing to their illicit activities within the region.
The suspects have been identified as follows: Jackson Shebenor, Good Gospower, Akiefa Desmond, Johnson Ogheneuwegba, Okonta Williams, Ochuko Godfrey, Marvelous Oghogho Ekpuke, Ofoluwa Sheriff, Eyengho Richard, Daniel Avwerosuo Iniovorhire, Favour Ighoatudu, Stanley David, Gospower Jeremiah, Hurock Miracle, Onaiwu Gideon, Apare Tamarakuru, Ogribi George, and Napoleon Efe Miracle.
Additional individuals arrested include: Jephthah Godbless, Isiorho Desmond, Ochuko Prosper, Akpevwe Edogbegi, Felis Emmanuel, John Benjamin, Chukwuyenum Kenneth, Ejaita Victory, Felix Wada, Ufuoma Ododolor, Blessing Gbekena, Edo Othuke, and Irikete Prosper.
Also on the list are: Joshua Ngerem, Efejayobor Ochuko, Eke Kelechi Destiny, Idise Raymond Chuks, Enitomi Patrick, Efetobore Prosper Eghegha, Toise Raymond Chuks, and Ogheneome Udovi.
During the operation, authorities seized eight luxury vehicles, along with an assortment of phones and laptops from the suspects.
The EFCC has reported that the suspects have provided valuable statements and will soon face charges in court.
