On Tuesday, 21 individual suspected internet fraudsters were arrested in Yola, Adamawa State.
Operatives from the Gombe Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) made the arrest on Tuesday.
The anti-graft agency said the suspects were arrested at different locations around Modibo Adamawa University, Yola.
During the arrests, officials seized several items, including 13 mobile phones (12 of which were Android devices), a laptop, and a tablet.
The EFCC has announced that the suspects will soon face charges in court.
