The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has announced the arrest of a suspected internet fraudster in Abuja.
In a statement shared on its official X page, the anti-graft agency revealed that the suspect was apprehended at No. 25 Aliyu Modibbo Street, Guzape Hills, following credible intelligence on his alleged fraudulent activities.
Items recovered during the arrest include a 2019 Range Rover Velar, $4,100 in cash, ₦2,000,000 in cash, an AP silver wristwatch, two mobile phones, and a laptop.
The EFCC confirmed that the suspect would face prosecution once investigations are completed.
