Eguavoen names Jay-Jay Okocha as the most skillful footballer

Former Nigeria Super Eagles manager Augustine Eguavoen has snubbed PSG stars Lionel Messi and Neymar and Brazilian legend Ronaldinho while naming the most skillful footballer ever.

Many used to say former FC Barcelona Ronaldinho is the most skill-gifted player of all-time regarding his technique while he was playing.

Others sustain that no one comes close to seven-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi while others prefer Neymar.

However, Eguavoen has another name in mind and it’s not Didier Drogba nor Samuel Eto’o.

Jay-Jay Okocha is the most skillful to have ever played the game according to Eguavoen.

FIFA let the door open for debate in one of their recent tweets on Twitter asking “Who is the most skillful player to have ever played the beautiful game?”

This post saw many internet users jumping under it commenting with Ronaldinho, Neymar and Messi names.

Reacting to the tweet, Augustine said former Super Eagles midfielder Jay-Jay Okocha is the first of all : “Definitely Jay-Jay. Closely followed by Ronaldinho”, he wrote under the post.

Jay-Jay Okocha who played for European clubs the likes of Eintracht Frankfurt, PSG and others is one of the greatest African players of all-time.

He scored 14 goals in 73 appearances with the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
