President of Nigeria Basketball Federation Engr. Ahmadu Musa Kida has congratulated Muslim faithfuls on the occasion of this year’s Eid El- Kabir celebration.
In his message, Kida advised that while celebrating this moment, Muslim faithfuls and indeed, all Nigerians should not forget to imbibe the lessons that gave birth to the celebration of this day.
He said, “I am happy to join all Muslim faithfuls in celebrating this day. It is a very momentous and important moment in the lives of all Muslim faithfuls.
“While celebrating, however, I want to advise that we embrace peace and unity. Let’s merry, but let’s not forget the lessons of this historic moment.
“Importantly, too, let’s pray for our dear country, Nigeria. So, all the turbulence and unwanted socio-economic challenges would be things of the past. We can only thrive and flourish as a nation, if we allow peace and unity to reign amongst us,” he added.
